Blue River Review is an online nonprofit literary journal originally created by Creighton University.
It has since changed hands and directions many times throughout the years, molding it into the project of persistence that it is today. Think of today's Blue River Review as a marriage of Midwest indie and desert grunge. Poetry editor Clem Flowers once compared reading Blue River Review to "getting to flip thru a sun bleached photo album from some forgotten family road trip in the '70s." Send us the words you've tucked away and forgotten, or the piece you didn't even proofread because you were so ready to share it. Send us your ache and your exuberance. We're ready for it. |
